Baby Shark has become the most viewed video on YouTube, replacing the leader in the form of the “Despacito” clip, which held the palm of the first place for three years. Where did the catchy track about the shark family come from, and why did it become so popular?
The Baby Shark music video has garnered over 9.4 billion (as of October 6, 2021) views on YouTube in its five years of existence. This massive number of views officially makes the kids’ video the most popular video on YouTube.
However, the origin of Baby Shark remains a big mystery.
